Mayor and Mayoress of Lambeth with Jenny Woodrow, head of Heathbrook School
Firstly we were entertained by pre-school and reception children who sang for us, followed by the older children in their last year at the school. Both were fantastic and demonstrated how the children developed through a passion for singing at the school.
Children’s Centre services are open to anyone who needs them not only those who live close by. Services include childcare places, early years education, family support and health services by working in partnership with the Primary Care Trust and other health professionals. There are also training opportunities for parents.
The childrens centre is one of 27 commissioned in Lambeth. In Phase 3, Lambeth will build on the Children’s Centre Programme by developing a further 3 Children’s Centres, which will give borough wide coverage.
