I was very sad to hear of the death of Peter Moore in December, just the day after I attended a charity event with him hosted by the Mayor of Southwark.

His funeral mass was held at St George’s Cathedral in Southwark and was attended by current and past Mayors from across London – a testament to his work for 31 years as a town crier.
