The theme for this years Holocaust Memorial Day is The Legacy of Hope.
27th January 2010 marks the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. At the event Mala Tribich a Holocaust survivor spoke about her experiences in the ghettos and concentration camps.

The was reading s from young people from the South London Liberal synagogue. Poetry reading from pupils of Dunraven School and music from the Corpus Christi School Choir.
The event was a fitting way to remember those who sufered in the Holocaust and in other genocides around the world since.
My wife and I attended yesterdays HMD, and were very impressed with the whole programme. We want to thank everybody involved in putting it together.
