Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans History Month takes place every year in February. It celebrates the lives and achievements of the LGBT community. The event was opened by Lambeth Council Chief Executive Derrick Anderson, demonstrating the councils commitment to LGBT History Month.
Lambeth’s contribution to this years series of events was launched at Brixton library with excellent speakers Stella Duffy and Paul Burston, Poetry from Catherine Brogan and a message for head of Safer Neighbourhood teams and partnerships Superintendent Paul Wilson.
The evening was completed with a performance from London’s Gay Mens Chorus ‘Far From Kansas’.
