I Thought

I thought I felt you touch me
I thought I tingled inside

I thought we talked for hours
I thought we become closer than ever before

I thought we woke in each others arms
I thought we thought we were special together

I thought I heard you say you love me
I thought I shook as I said the same

I thought we'd reached the point
Where we thought all our tomorrows began

I thought I saw you chatting to another
I thought I found a phone number

I thought why are you so late
I wondered are you really working so hard

I thought I was going mad
When you told me you thought I was

Now it seems my thoughts were a lie
As all our thoughts say goodbye
